FCCE Master Plan

In October the Church Resource Ministry Team began the process of developing a Master Plan for our church campus. The team discussed the up-coming Visioning Workshop and the role it will play. The team’s emphasis will be on the kick-off of the Master Plan. Members of the team contacted church members from a variety of ages and experiences to serve on the core team which met on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

On Sunday, October 24th there was an open forum for church members to learn more about the Master Plan process and how members may volunteer on a variety of sub-teams.

First Congregational Church of Escondido is pleased to have the membership and expertise of Kurt Hunker—Master of Architecture, Harvard University Graduate School of Design; Bachelor of Science in Architecture, The Ohio State University. (https://newschoolarch.edu/faculty/kurt-hunker/) His credentials validate his vital contribution as a member of the Master Plan. He shared that a group of his students will be using FCCE as a hypothetical study project in multi-unit design. They conducted an on-site inspection of the FCCE campus on October 6 as background for the project. The CRMT welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with outside organizations.
